Carlin Ray Edgar

Carlin Ray Edgar, age 67, of Perry Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born October 26, 1943 in Noble County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Kenneth Woodrow and Ila Maude (Friend) Edgar.

On January 17, 1966, Carlin was united in marriage to Linda Buttner in Los Angeles, California. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Carlin was an electrician. He enjoyed fishing, reading western novels, and was very proud of his grandson.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and a brother, Keith Edgar.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Linda Edgar, Perry, OK; two sons, William Edgar and his wife Chrissy, Yukon, OK and Jeffrey Edgar, Perry, OK; a grandson, Elijah Edgar; and two nephews, Corey and Steve Edgar, Perry, OK.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Perry Funeral Home.
