Lonnie Edens passed away June 6, 2016.

Lonnie Leroy Edens was born February 20, 1940 in Copan, OK the son of James "Jack" and Eva Marie (Whitchurch) Edens. He married Karen Elaine Keller on December 29, 1967 in Bartlesville. Lonnie worked from 1958-1969 as a song writer, vocalist, musician and recording artist. He was a supervisor engineering OSP design for 27 years with Southwestern Bell and retired on December 30, 1991 to enjoy life on Grand Lake. He sold real estate for five years until bad health forced him to move back to Bartlesville on August 11, 2001.
Lonnie is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen Edens. Two sons; Mark Alan Edens and wife Crystal of Bartlesville and Martin James Edens and wife Ashley of Skiatook. He was blessed with four grandchildren and many friends. Lonnie was ready and prepared to meet Jesus. He will be greatly missed.
