A Celebration of Life Service for Walla E. Eckhardt age 72 of Enid will be 10 am Monday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Walla was born June 3, 1945 in Enid to Wallace and Fern Rider Eckhardt and passed away January 1, 2018. He attended and graduated from Enid High School. He enlisted in U.S. Army serving during theVietnam War and was honorably discharged. He worked as a truck driver for several years. 

He is survived by his children Charlene Davenport of Little Chute, WI and Jody Alvey of Dallas, TX, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harold W. Eckhardt.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home, 2800 N. Van Buren, Enid, OK, 73703.

Walla was born June 3, 1945, in Enid to Wallace and Fern Rider Eckhardt and passed away January 1, 2018. 

He attended and graduated from Enid High School. He enlisted in U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged. He worked as a truck driver for several years.

He is survived by his children, Charlene Davenport of Little Chute, WI; and Jody Alvey of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Harold W. Eckhardt.
