A Celebration of Life dinner for Susan "Sue" Lee Stacey Eck, 69, will be held backstage at the State Theatre in Gainesville, Texas from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday, December 17.
Born December 13, 1952, in Gainesville, the daughter of Carl and Nora Lee Stacey Clark, she died on Friday, July 22, 2022, in Gainesville, Florida.
Susan was a hair designer for 52 years and a journeyman at The Congress Center in Atlanta for 30 years. She loved spending time with her family collecting antiques, and going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Carl D. Clark and Kerry L. Clark.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel O. Eck of Madisonville, Kentucky; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph E. and Janice Beard of Ormond Beach, Florida; sons, James W. Lewis of Dallas and Jack W. Clark of Winder, Georgia; daughter, Stacey D. Clark of Peoria, Texas; six grandchildren, Ansley N. Lewis, Johnnie L. Denny, Chadwick A. Harrison, Mason B. "Blake" Clark, Lisa Gullion and Eric Richardson; and five great grandchildren, Kai, Lily, Charlie, Jace and Eli.
Included in this obituary is a photo of Mrs. Eck.
