Memorial services for Jerry Lee Eck age 77 of Yukon, were held Saturday , April 10, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm in West Metro Church of Christ.
Jerry was born on March 12, 1943 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Walter and Susanna Eck. and passed from this life on December 29, 2020 after a long illness..
He was raised in Fairview and Montezuma, KS areas.
Jerry served in the U S Army and following his Army tour in Korea, he continued his service in the Army then joined Army National Guard.
He and Barbara Anderson were married in Oklahoma City while he was serving in the Army and stationed at Fort Sill. To this union was born a total of 4 daughters Christy , Lisa , Renee and Shannon.
After spending a few years away, a job opportunity brought Jerry and his family back to Oklahoma where he made his home in Yukon for the remainder of his years. He retired from the restaurant and construction business in 2009 and focused on spending his days with his family..
Survivors include his wife of over 55 years, Barbara and his 4 daughters, Christy and husband Rich Wall of El Reno, Lisa and husband David Pitts of Yukon, Renee and husband Steve Lambert of Hinton, and Shannon Prahm also of Yukon, brothers Vernon of Oklahoma City, Walter and wife Kay of Enid and 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, brother in law, Marvin and wife Meg Anderson, Ponte Vedra, FL, sisters-in-law Marilyn and husband Steve Goforth, Edmond and Karen and husband Joe Milburn, Arcadia, Aunts, Uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
