Stephen Eugene Echard, 66, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 in Tecumseh.
He was born on January 23, 1952 to Eugene and Mary Alice (Stokes) Echard in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Steve attended Tecumseh Public Schools and was a 1970 graduate of Tecumseh High School. He attended college at East Central University in Ada.
He worked in the right-of-way department at O.G.E. until his retirement.
Steve was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed sports and was a loyal OU Football Fan.
He was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Mary Alice Echard.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Tony Echard of Tecumseh, OK and Doug and Sheryl Echard of Bay City, TX; 4 nephews, B.J. and Ashlie Echard of Ada, OK, Andy and Kendal Echard of Moore, OK, Brett and Jackie Echard of Richmond, TX and Corey Echard of Bay City, TX; 2 great-nieces, Kennedy and Kassidy; and other extended family and friends.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., October 13, 2018 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Kevin Keenan and Brad Walck officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
