Roger Lynn Eaton

Roger Lynn Eaton
March 14, 1945  ~ October 3, 2015

Roger Lynn Eaton, son of William Weldon Eaton and Alice Lucille (Sanford-Eaton) Myers, was born on March 14, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan and departed this life on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Westville, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years.

Roger grew up in Remus, Michigan, graduating from Barryton High School in 1963. Shortly after graduation, Roger enlisted in the Marines. He traveled and worked extensively across the United States, eventually settling in Westville in 1990.

He enjoyed working on all items electrical; computers, VCRs, TVs, DVD players, etc... Roger was a very creative and artistic person, who enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed spending time with children and was never too busy to help them.

Roger's father: William Eaton, brother: Melvin Eaton and stepfather: Archie Myers preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother: Alice Myers, of the home near Westville, OK, sisters: Diana  Woodbury, Jeana Green and Walter Hatfield of Lincoln, AR, Tammy Bales and David Unger of Stilwell, OK, Roberta Voss and husband Stuart of Weidman, MI, Becky Barrow and husband Steven of Washington, IL, brother: Wilbert Eaton and wife Sherry of Eagle, MI, 14 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Roberts & Hart Chapel, Westville, OK with Bro. David Isaacs officiating
