Viola Mae Easter

A graveside service for Viola Mae Easter, 84, of Meno, will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Old Mission Wichita Park Cemetery, Wichita, Kan. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Okeene. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born June 23, 1923, in Talmo, Kan., to Charles A. and Goldie Viola Swaim Hinson and died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at Summit Living Center, Okeene.

She married Dale Easter. They made their home in Meno. She was a homemaker and member of Wesleyan Church, Ringwood.

Surviving are four daughters, Anita Miller, Nancy McMurphy, Donna Beckwith and Sue Easter; one brother, Dan Hinson; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, three brothers and two grandsons.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Summit Living Center Activity Fund.
