Evan Scott Earles, a beloved husband, father and son left this life too soon in Durant, Oklahoma on Saturday February 17th, 2018 at the age of 33 years 6 months and 29 days. Evan was born to Joseph Scott and Kym Mari (Floyd) Earles on July 19, 1984 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
What follows was written by Evan's wife Brittany. Evan was the kind of guy you don't forget and would never want to. He filled our hearts with love and our minds with new knowledge; he loved to share. Without a doubt, every time he saw you, no matter what kind of day he was having, he would stop to give you one of his famous, heartwarming hugs. You couldn't help but feel loved no matter what kind of day you were having when he hugged you. He was OU's number 1 fan, no doubt about that! Football was life from September to December. And a concert, forget about it. You couldn't find a better date. If the music didn't do it for you, his energy sure would! He was the best listener; he always had the time to lend an ear or his big ol' shoulder. He had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and loved learning anything new. I started to hate discovery & science channel, now I can't get enough! Anything that helps me remember our good times, which were abundant! Evan couldn't hold a grudge. He didn't and couldn't harbor hate. It was all love with Evan. Anytime a friend or family member needed anything, he would be there whether you wanted him to or not. His boys were his world and they love him dearly as do I and EVERYONE who knew him. He was my rock; my world and I'd do anything to have you back baby. You will live on in our hearts forever & never be forgotten. If we could all strive to learn to love like Evan this world would be a better place!
Evan is survived by mother, Kym; father, Joseph and wife Joy; wife, Brittany; sons, Lucas and Landry; brother, Jason and wife LaDonna; nephew, Garrett; niece, Ashton; in-laws, Curtis and wife Renee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Evan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pete Earles; grandmother, Pat Earles; grandfather, Johnny Floyd; grandmother, Margie (Nanaw) Miller; and aunt, Melissa Camp.
