Wilton Earle was born October 12, 1905 to Robert Gale and Lou Era Seale Earle at Pine Grove, Arkansas.

He passed away at home June 5, 2000 at the age of 94.

When Wilson was five his family moved to western Oklahoma to the Crawford and Durham area.

On November 2, 1939 Wilton married Icie Leola Cockrell at Reydon, Oklahoma. They had four sons, Leon, Dennis, Raymond and Harold.

Wilson did farming and custom harvesting for a number of years. He has lived at Craig, Colorado for the last twenty five years.

The last several years he has enjoyed working with his bees. He had honey in several stores as well as shipped it all over the United States.

He said he spent a lot of time talking to God while out working with the bees.

He loved to tell stories of things he had done or seen in his lifetime. He came all the way from hauling grain or hogs to market by team and wagon to the space age.

He is survived by his wife, Leola; his four sons and their wives, Dennis and Glenda of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Leon and Rose, Raymond and Genie, Harold and Loretta of Craig, Colorado; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Rufus of Craig, Colorado; and Clyde and Rupert of Durham, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and three grandsons.

Services were held June 9, 2000 at the Craig Cemetery with Gary Henderson officiating.
