Alice Myrtle (Dooty) Earl

December 3, 1882 ~ October 6, 1967

Mrs. Alice Myrtle Dooty Earl, 84, of Liberal, Missouri died at 9:40 o'clock Friday night, October 6, 1967 in Barton County Memorial hospital, Lamar, after a month's illness.

She was born December 3, 1882, near Fredonia, Kansas, and had lived in Liberal about 15 years.

She was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, A. C. Earl; a stepson, W. B. Earl of Denver, Colorado; three brothers, S. E. Dooty of Three Ribers, Michigan; Jess W. Dooty of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; John R. Dooty of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a sister, Mrs. Semira Crane of Mountain Grove, Missouri.

Services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Liberal Baptist church.

Graveside rites were at 4 o'clock at Mountain Grove, Missouri. The Rev. E.B. Huffstutter officiated.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Mountain Grove under the direction of Chiles Funeral Home of Lamar.
