Gregory Dean Eairheart, 79, of Ponca City, died on October 18, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2020, at Life Center in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Greg was born in Santa Ana, California to David Wesley Eairheart and Beatrice Lora Miller on September 8, 1941. They moved to Raytown Missouri and shortly after High School, Greg enlisted in United States Marine Corp. After enlisting he met the love of his life Charlene Evelyn Hawkins and the two were married February 23, 1962. They started their journey together and gave birth to 5 children, two boys and 3 girls. Greg served his country proud all 6 years as a Marine, and then went into Grocery Retail Management until he retired in 2002.
Greg loved making leather items for family and friends. He liked traveling, fishing, and hunting. He spent many hours treasure hunting/antiquing and exploring caves. He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends sharing all his memorable stories! He led a life that exampled a strong work ethic, loyalty and was friendly to everyone he met. But most important he found his Joy in the Love of the Lord!
He is survived by his daughters; Lauralene Derrick and husband, Jody, Carolyn Dixon and husband, Clint, Kathern Remington and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Curtis Dixon and wife, Erica, Keith Dixon and wife, Lacy, Christopher Derrick, Kristen Hopper and husband, Brandon, Jennifer Derrick, Amanda Moten, Dillon Moten and wife, Melissa, Rosie Remington, Priscilla Derrick, David Derrick, Emmali Derrick, Melody Derrick, Olivia Derrick, Camden Derrick, Ruby Derrick, Elijah Derrick, Theodore Derrick; great-grandchildren, Keenan, Jaiden, Lawessa, Jakobi, Josey, Kale, Dallas, Abel, Peyton, Mason, Oliver; one sister, two brothers, brother in-laws, sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by; his wife Charlene, two sons; Little Greg and David; and his parents.
