Woodward, Okla. — Jane Dwinelle, 77 year old Woodward resident, died Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the Woodward Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2013 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jason Dirks officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Deloris Jane (Buck) Dwinelle was born on April 16, 1936 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Lewis Delano and Opal Nevada (White) Buck. Jane grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. Jane worked at Leslie’s Drug for a period of time. She was united in marriage to Carrol Ernest (Ernie) Dwinelle on October 20, 1966 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward and have lived there since that time. Jane stayed home with her children until they were raised.

She was a member of the First Christian Church. Jane enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing cards, watching sports, and mowing the pasture. She was a member of the Woodwardettes Extension Homemakers and volunteered with the Woodward Hospital Auxiliary, formerly known as the Pinklady’s.

She is survived by her husband Ernie Dwinelle of the home; her mother Opal Buck; one son, Robert Dwinelle and wife Jeri; two daughters, Leslie VanNostrand, Julie Johnson; sister-in-law, Jackie Goetz; grandchildren, Jerame Johnson and wife Cindy, Abbie Wasson and husband Jeff, Christy Hay and husband Rick, Travis Johnson and wife Natalie, Dean Dwinelle, and Riley Gaston; great-grandchildren, Zane Wasson, Luke Hay, Brittany Hay, Brayden Hay and Braylee Hay; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Lewis Buck.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Lung Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
