Gladys Maxine DuVall was born April 17, 1933 in Stillwell, Oklahoma to parents Adolf and Ora Ella Dornbrack. She passed to be with our Lord November 4, 2020 at the age of 87 years. During those 87 years, Gladys led a full life, devoted to God, her church, her community, and her family. After 20 years and 30 days of service, Gladys retired from the Stillwell Utility Company as a Bill Collection Clerk on May 31 1989. She advocated for the welfare of her community and spent much time in the service of fellow members of her church, Victory Baptist, and others in need. She was well-loved. Her kind heart and lively spirit will be deeply missed.
Gladys married William Ira DuVall on November 25, 1950 in Stillwell Oklahoma where, together, they made their home for the next 60 years. They raised three children and watched their family grow on to include grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) DuVall, her parents Adolf and Ora Ella Dornbrack, Brothers: Edgar (Pete) Dornbrack, Charles Dornbrack, and Robert Dornbrack, sisters: Rene Chuculate, and Joyce Qualls, sisters-in-law: Pat Dornbrack, Patsy Dornbrack, brothers-in-law: Ted Qualls, Gerald Chuculate, and grandson Ryan Bowd.
Gladys is survived by her children: James (Jim) DuVall and wife Juanita of Stillwell, Kathy Hooper and husband Danny of Stillwell, Robert DuVall and wife Mary Gail of Piedmont, , Sister-in-law: Oleta Dornbrack of Stillwell, a special niece: Donna Dornbrack, that was like a daughter, grandchildren: Jerry Hardbarger and wife Brittney of Stillwell, Maisie Duncan and husband Stuart of Copperas Cove, Linzy DuVall of Oklahoma City, Chris Hooper of West Siloam Springs, Billy Hooper and wife Treva of Stillwell, Mashelle Haddock and husband David of Tahlequah, great-grandchildren: Kenzi Bowd of Piedmont, Emma and Aiden Duncan of Copperas Cove, Taylor Hooper of Kansas, Kyson, Harmony, Symphony, Ivory, and Ebony Hardbarger of Stillwell, Chris and Gabe Hooper of West Siloam Springs, Axl Hooper and Geromiah Dustin Noisewater of Stillwell, and many other relatives and friends.
