Alan Lee Durant, age 68, an Atoka, OK resident, was born on May 10, 1957, to Frank Durant and Billie (Parmley) Alford, at Casa Grande, AZ. Alan passed away on October 22, 2025 at Atoka, OK. He received his GED. Alan was a construction worker specializing in sheet rock. Alan enlisted in the United States Navy in 1978. He married Diana Lynn Holley on August 8th, 1981 in Atoka, OK. Alan enjoyed visiting with family and friends. He loved to work on cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Alan also had a love for animals and listening to music.
He is survived by his mother, Billie Alford of Atoka, OK; mother of his children, Diana (Holley) Durant of Atoka, OK; children, Sabrina Beaird and spouse Eugene of Atoka, OK, Sarah Durant of Atoka, OK; grandchild, Zoey Beaird of Atoka, OK; siblings, Deborah Kenyon and spouse Donnie of Atoka, OK, James Anthony Thompson and spouse Sandy of Atoka, OK, Donna Allen of Atoka, OK, Tracy Thompson of McAlester, OK, Maurice Thompson and significant other Stephanie Lucas of Atoka, OK, Zane Thompson and spouse Josette of Jacksonville, TX, Rhonda Loudermilk and husband Mike of Wapanucka, OK; Along with numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and many dear friends.
Alan was preceded in death by his father, Frank Durant; stepfather, James
Donald Thompson; siblings, Billie Frank "Pete" Durant, Stacy Thompson;
daughter, Misty (Durant) Farmer; close nephew, Stetson Thompson.
