Stephen Wayne Dupus, 69, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on June 11, 2026.
Born on March 18, 1957, in Enid, Oklahoma, he was raised there and attended school before answering the call to serve his country. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served his nation with honor and dedication.
Following his military service, he began a lifelong career in the oilfield. For more than 30 years, he worked as a hot oil truck driver, earning the respect of those who knew him through his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to help others. While the oilfield was his career, welding was his passion. He loved working with his hands and took great pride in the craftsmanship of every project he touched.
Above all else, he loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding him through every blessing and every trial. He lived with quiet strength, integrity, and a servant’s heart.
He shared ten wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Donna, after the two spent eleven cherished years building a life together. Through every joy and every hardship, they remained steadfast in their love and commitment to one another. Their marriage was built on faith, devotion, and unconditional love.
His life was one of service—to his country, to his work, to those he loved, and most importantly, to God. Though he has left this earthly home, his faith, strength, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. You were the love of my life, my best friend, and my greatest blessing. Thank you for loving me, for walking beside me, and for sharing this life with me.
