Colleen Kay Dupus was born on October 12, 1961 to Clarence and Lorene Timm and departed this world on October 8, 2022 at her home embraced by her loving family.
She graduated from Pond Creek-Hunter High School in 1979 and attended Vo-Tech in Enid, OK for two years. She began working as a bookkeeper at Northwest Vet Supply in 1979 and continued to work up until days of her passing. The unbreakable friendships she shared with her “work family” exemplified unquestionably that love is thicker than blood.
On June 26, 1981, she was united in marriage to her best friend and lifelong love Clifton Wayne Dupus. There never was a more perfect match.
Colleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She best expressed her love through her countless acts of service. Her cooking was legendary, she put others first, and she had an insatiable drive for things to be “just a certain way”.
She loved working in her yard, spending time outside, and just hanging out with her family. She will perhaps be remembered best for her sharp, witty sense of humor, her wonderfully contagious laugh, her ability to have a good time, all the while being unapologetically blunt and honest.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Lorene Timm and her sister Janet Rodgers.
She is survived by her husband Cliff, her two children Clint Dupus and wife Kristy, Chelsea Tuma and husband Christopher, four grandchildren Kashton and Karter Dupus and Orrin and Obin Tuma. She is also survived by her brother Tim Moore and sister Claudia Goss.
The Celebration of Life Gathering for Colleen Kay Dupus will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Elks Lodge, in Enid, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
