Gabriel William Duplantis

Gabriel William Duplantis
June 9, 2018 ~ February 9, 2020

The celebration of life for Gabriel William Duplantis, one year-old son of Kaitlin Duplantis and Jamie Giovannini, will be 11:00AM Saturday, February 15, 2020 in the First United Methodist Church. Reverend Susan Southall will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Gabe was born June 9, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Kaitlin Duplantis and Jamie Giovannini and passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 in O.U. Children's Hospital after a brave struggle with Alober holoprosencephaly. Gabe was a tough kid and a fighter, inspiring other families, Doctor's and nurses at O.U. Children's. Gabriel translated from the Hebrew "God is my Warrior". And he was.

Gabe loved playing with his big sister, Ivey. Gabe was drawn to the colors blue and orange and the family requests attenders wear those colors, if possible.

He is survived by his parents, Kaitlin Duplantis and Jamie Giovannini; sister, Ivey; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Lynn Duplantis; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Patricia Giovannini of Syracuse, New York; two uncles, Austin Duplantis and Justin Fleenor and two aunts, Megan Fleenor and Samantha Giovannini.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home to OMRF(ANH Division).
