Pansy Johnson Duncan was born December 18, 1893, in Missouri and passed away July 4, 1966, at National City, California. She was the daughter of the late Thom and Lula Johnson.
On November 1, 1911, she married Dee Duncan in Cheyenne. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1951. They lived in Butler for many years.
Mrs. Duncan was loved by all who knew her for she enjoyed doing for others. She made friends easily and treasured their friendship throughout her life.
Following the death of her parents she and her late husband raised her two sisters. After their move to California they helped to raise their grandchildren and great grandchildren. There was always a place in their hearts and home for those who needed help.
Before their retirement years they operated a help-your-self laundry in California.
Survivors include one son, Earl Duncan of National City, California; one daughter, Verna Mae Gillespie of Cypress, California; two brothers, Emit Johnson of Talent, Oregon; Claud Johnson of White City, Oregon; two sisters, Eva Trawick of Canute; Lillian Colegrove of Rathdrum, Idaho; two grandchildren, Earlene Whitehead of Cypress, California, Eddie Jamesone of National City, California; and eight great grandchildren.
