Jimmy Duncan Jr. (Tootie) was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on June 17, 1971 and went home to be with Our Lord on August 17, 2020 at home at the age of 49 years and 2 months.
He attended Dahlonegah Public School and Stilwell High School.
High school sweethearts, Jimmy and Wanda met as teenagers and married on May 24th, 2002. They spent 33 wonderful years together with 16 years of marriage.
His hobbies included reading anything, going riding around, fishing when he could, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. He loved OU football, working on cars when he was able and spending time with his grandkids. He was always cutting up with family and friends. He never knew a stranger and was always willing to help.
Jimmy was a member of Mulberry Tree Baptist Church.
His favorite verse was II Corinthians 12:9:
“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
A few of his famous words were “No crybabies” and “I can fix anything but a broken heart”.
He was proceeded in death by his Grandpa Joe Duncan Sr., Father-in-law John Martin, Mother-in-law Mary Martin, Aunt Edna Duncan, Uncle Junior Acorn, Grandpa Arch Vann, and Grandma Mary Vann.
Jimmy is survived by Wife Wanda Duncan; Children: Daniel Dewayne Duncan, Brandon Duncan companion Christian Bunch, Ashley Linville husband Paul; Father: Jimmy Duncan; Mother: Mary McLemore Duncan; Mother: Besty Springwater, Brothers: Robert Duncan wife Veronica, Jason Duncan companion Candace Sanders, Jeremy Duncan, Nick Springwater companion Christina Duncan; Sisters: Alicia Duncan Fiancé Tyler Sam, Amber Springwater; Grandchildren: Alicia “Big Eyes” Linville, John Paul “ Peanut” Linville Jr., MorningStar Eve Linville, Elisabeth “Beans” Linville, Bella Rena Martin, and one on the way: Rahaleigh Bren Duncan a host of relatives and friends also survive him.
