Lynn Ellen Dulaney, 62, of Stillwater, OK, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Golden Oaks Nursing Home in Stillwater. Services have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater.
A Celebration of Lynn's life will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2 PM at Golden Oaks Nursing Home where she worked for several years.
Lynn was born on December 19, 1954 in Bloomington, IL, to William and Betty (Keist) Lane. She grew up in the Bloomington area and graduated from Bloomington High School. She later moved to Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Community College where she obtained her LPN degree, and worked as a nurse until her health failed her and forced her to retire. The last few years of her career, Lynn worked at Golden Oaks and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved the residents and staff very much. They all became her extended family.
Some of Lynn's hobbies and interests include listening to R&B music, watching "Everybody loves Raymond", taking care of her little furry friends, and being a true Cubs fan. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. Together they made many memories that will never be forgotten.
Lynn is survived by her two sons, Dan Veselak of Stillwater, OK, and Benjamin Veselak of Heworth, IL; nine grandchildren, Drew Veselak, Aaron Veselak, Alex Veselak, Angel Veselak, Taylor Hook, Tyler Hook, Jakob Veselak, Allison Veselak, and Brayden Veselak; two sisters, Sue Ryburn and husband vic of Heworth, IL, and Julie Stine and husband Larry of Kappa, IL; two brothers, Mike Lane of Heworth, IL, and Bryan Lane and wife Kelly of Minonk, IL. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty, brother, William Lane, and her son, Michael Daniel Veselak, Jr.
