George Edward Duke, Jr.

George Edward Duke Jr.
September 08, 1951 ~ June 28, 2015

George Edward Duke Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. George was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 8, 1951 to George and Rita Duke. George grew up and attended school in The Texas panhandle area where his family pioneered during the 1800's. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War period. George was skillfully talented and was a successful entrepreneur. He had many hobbies, but always maintained interest in cars, motors, and racing.

After retiring, he spent much of his time living in a resort community in Mexico, where he enjoyed the beach life, deep sea fishing, and spending time with his many friends there.

George was a remarkable and unique individual who made many friends and genuinely cared for them. He was dearly loved by all. He was a very generous, kind, and forgiving person. Dearest to his heart, was his grandchildren and his children, for whom there was nothing he would not do.

George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Rita Duke. He is survived by Donna, their children Randy, Chris, and Crystal. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jordan, Bryce, Braxton, Elaini, and Mia, and two brothers Randy and Greg.
