Melissa Kaye Duffield, 49, Enid resident, was born July 27, 1970, and passed away peacefully April 29, 2020. Services are incomplete and will be announced at a later date by the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com
Melissa Barnett Duffield, 49, went home to be with her Lord on April 29 after a long battle with Lupus. She was a devoted mother and wife and had a huge heart for people and animals.
Melissa married Grover Duffield, Jr on August 5, 2000. They were married almost 20 years. Melissa worked as an insurance agent at Enid Insurance and was very crafty. Her artistic abilities were drawing and scrapbooking.
Melissa is survived by her husband of the home, Grover; her sons, Josh Brown of Enid and wife Sydney; and Devonte Tucker of Stillwater. Many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, 8 grandchildren and her precious service dog, London.
Melissa is preceded in death by her Daddy, William Barnett; her grandparents and one granddaughter, April Knight.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Melissa’s name to your local SPCA office.
