David Matthew Droescher, whose name means “God’s beloved gift,” was born on Good Friday, April 1, 1983. Sadly, he passed from this life much too soon on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 32. David worked alongside his father at Droescher & Associates in Norman. He loved sports and was a passionate fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, Denver Bronchos and the San Antonio Spurs. He enjoyed a good movie, especially those of the action, adventure and superhero variety. David had a gentle soul and a kind heart. He will be lovingly missed by his family and many friends.
David earned his Degree in Business Administration from UCO and was working on a second Degree at the University of Oklahoma Architecture School, classified as a “Junior” in “Construction Science”. He was also a member of “SOUL” at University Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his parents, George and Donna Droescher; sister, Jennifer Macom and husband Robert; nieces, Taylor Blanton and Alyssa Macom; aunt, Mary Waggoner and husband Jim; uncle, Carlos Droescher and wife Lynn; uncle, Calvin Kilgore and wife Jerre; a host of cousins and his best friend, Heidi. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carlos and Trudy Droescher and Cal and Helen Kilgore.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at University Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service
