Connie Lynn Drew, daughter of Jackie Lee and Beverly Joyce (Johnson) Owens, was born July 28, 1961 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She departed this life to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at her home in Tulsa surrounded by her loving family at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 2 days.
Connie began her career at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa in October of 1981. She served in many different capacities over the years. Some of those were transcriptions, medical records, and most recently she held the position of Health Information Supervisor.
She was a lover of life and family. One of her favorite things to do was to watch Kelsi play softball. Whenever Kelsi played, Connie was always there to support her and cheer her on. She was Kelsi’s # 1 fan. She and Kelsi not only shared a great mother / daughter relationship, but they were also the best of friends.
Connie absolutely loved spending time with family. She enjoyed the days at her grandparents’s house in Stilwell, sitting on the front porch, talking, laughing and making memories.
Connie was married to her loving husband, Jeff Drew, on July 12, 2013 in Branson, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly Joyce and Jackie Lee Owens; brother-in-law, Rick Willis; maternal grandparents, Edgar and Ethel Johnson; and paternal grandparents, Ollie Madison and George Owens.
Connie is survived by her husband , Jeff Drew, of the home; daughter Kelsi Lea Edwards and husband Jarrad of Wagoner, OK; sister Lanetta Russell and husband Monte of Tulsa, OK; nephew, Cody Willis and wife Cheryl of Stilwell, OK; two great nieces, Kherrington and Spencer Willis of Stilwell (Connie was better known to them as Aunt Co-Co); two aunts, Annetta Schwemin of Tulsa, OK and Donna Benham and husband Charles of Stilwell, OK; and many other relatives and friends.
Connie and her beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
