Memorial services for Franklin "Frank" Roosevelt Drawbaugh, a Coalgate resident, will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. Tom Hargrave officiatiing. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate
Mr. Drawbaugh was born August 29, 1937 in Holdenville, OK to Herbert Marion and Rosella Pearl (Raper) Drawbaugh and passed away April 25, 2010 in Coalgate at the age of 72. He atteneded Holdenville schools and married Eddie Timmons on June 21, 1981 in Stratford, OK. Frank was a rancher, loved children, obsessed with his grandkids, was an avid fisherman, loved the outdoors and was good with cattle. He was known as the cattle whisperer.
Survivors include his wife Eddie Drawbaugh of Coalgate; brother, Austin Drawbaugh of Ohio; father-in-law and best friend, Jack Timmons of Ada; eleven sons and daughters; twenty-four grandchildren; five great grandchildren, along with nieces,nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Esta Lee Drawbaugh; sons, Franklin Roosevelt Drawbaugh, Jr. and Hebert Robert Drawbaugh and two brothers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Timmons, Douglas Emmett, Scottie Alan Drawbaugh, David Timmons, John Henderson, Owen Mitchell, Tinker Drawbaugh and Larry Parks.
