Monte May Downs was born May 20, 1913 and died February 26, 2005 in Altus, Oklahoma.
Arrangements were under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Monte May Downs was born May 20, 1913 the daughter of John and Pearl (Phelps) Hibler and died February 26, 2005 in Altus, Oklahoma.
She lived in Texas and Oklahoma all of her life. Mrs. Downs was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Mangum, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Ray David Downs; one brother: Western Hibler; one sister: Emilar Buxton.
Survivors include: three sons: David Downs of Lompoc, California, John Downs of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Gary Downs of Spannaway, Washington; three daughters: Wanda Dean of Enid, Oklahoma, Cherry Downs of Showlow, Arizona, Charlotte Siska of Paducah, Kentucky; one brother: John Hibler of New York; three sisters: Dorothy Lyle of Port Charlotte, Florida, Blanche Oden of Altus, Oklahoma, Isabell White of Plainview, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; great great grand nieces, nephews and cousins.
