Louis Lee Dowling

March 6, 1929 ~ July 3, 2002

Louis Lee Dowling, 73, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 3, 2002.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Quail Creek Congregation. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mr. Dowling was born March 6, 1929, in Earlsboro, Oklahoma. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as an elder in local congregations. He owned and operated a television repair service for many years as well as several other businesses over the years.

Survivors include his wife, Lucyna, two daughters, Margie Sims and Ellen Johnson, both of Amarillo, a stepdaughter, Diana Horton of Amarillo, a stepson, Keith Boyd of Amarillo, two sisters, Otheda Kinnikin of Mesquite and Kathryn Warren of Exeter, Missouri, three brothers, Kenneth Dowling of Sedona, Arizona, Rex Dowling of Amarillo and Jim Dowling of Springfield, Missouri, two grandsons and a granddaughter.

The family will be at 1906 Karen St.
