Wynona Lee Phillips Dougherty was born April 16, 1926 to Homer and Addie McKay Phillips in Leedey, Oklahoma and passed away April 15, 1989 at her home in Long Beach, California, following a long illness.
Wynona Lee attended grade school in Leedey, Oklahoma, before moving with her family to California, in the 1930;s where she lived until her death.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Dougherty; one son, two daughters, six grandchildren, her mother, Addie Purcell and one sister, Marietta Jo Moore.
Preceding her in death were her father, Homer Phillips in 1928 and her brother, Lacy Phillips in 1980.
Memorial services were conducted from Paramount Chapel in Long Beach on April 19, 1989 with interment in the Community Cemetery in Hemet, California.
Leedey relatives are Martha Ann Patterson and Velma Switzer.
