Charles A. "Butch" Dorman, age 66, of Lawton passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Butch was born on Friday, July 27, 1951 in Burbank, California to Bill Dorman, and he graduated from William S. Hart High School in Newhall, California with the class of 1969. Butch was a former member of the Boiler Makers Union Local 101. He had traveled and lived across the United States; Alaska, Colorado, his beloved Wyoming, and eventually Oklahoma-working, playing hard, hunting, fishing, and enjoying life. He married the love of his life, Tracy Guffey on April 23, 1998 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Together they lived at Rush Springs and Lake Humphrey, then settled in the Central High area.
Preceded in death by his father, Bill Dorman; grandparents Alton and Ethel Dorman; brother-in-law James Stowers; aunt Minnie Dorman and cousin David Leverton, Butch is survived by his wife Tracy; twin sons Jaycee and Justin Guffey; step mother Jan Dorman; brother Joe Dorman; sisters Kathy Stowers and Billie(Eddie) Coast; mother-in-law Helen Mason; nieces and nephews, Keith and family, Sarah and family, Chris and family, Jenny, Samantha and family, Kelli and family and Blaise; several cousins; close friends, Billy and Regina McDonald and family and Gary Evans and family.
Per his lifelong request there will be no services. His wife and sons request everyone remember him the way he was and to enjoy life as he did.
