Allen Duane Doney

Allen Duane Doney
September 13, 1940 ~ January 14, 2025

Duane Doney, 84, of Enid passed away on January 14, 2025. He was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma on September 13, 1940, to Willard and Mattie Doney. He moved to Enid in 1949 and attended Adams, Longfellow, and Enid High School.

He worked in construction until joining the Enid Fire Department in 1968 where he worked through the ranks and became Fire Chief in 1987 and retired in 1996.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mattie Doney, three brothers, and three sisters.

Duane is survived by his wife, Marilyn, of the home and his children, Kim and Mike Miller of Enid, Rick and Amy Kuntz of Enid, Traci and Dale Henneke of Drummond, and Misty Doney of Oklahoma City, 13 grandchildren which includes Tyler Kuntz which gave him some of the best years of his life, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

HE REQUESTED NO FUNERAL.
