Veda Mae Dolph, 87, of Midwest City, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010. She was born October 29, 1922 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lonzo Harrison and Viola Lee (Williamson) Bryant.
Veda grew up in Oklahoma City attending Capitol Hill High School. She married Richard L. 'Dick' Dolph on February 5, 1949. Veda and Dick owned and operated various businesses including: a car lot, lawn and garden business and an International Harvester dealership. Veda also worked at Foley's in Penn Square mall where she achieved Diamond Star sales associate. Veda enjoyed arts & crafts and flower arranging. She also loved her candy, chocolate and desserts.
Veda was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard L. 'Dick' Dolph; her mother and father; sisters: Gladys Weber and Joan Hardin.
She is survived by: son, James Allen Dolph; daughter, Aurelia Lee and Mike Magerus; 6 grandchildren: Ricky, Kelly, Becky, Patrick, Christopher and Tracy; 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: LaFern and Joe B. Barnes, June and C.J. 'Corky' McCain and Jerry Gutowsky.
