DeWayne Stanford Dollar

DeWayne Stanford Dollar
February 14, 1953 ~ March 27, 2020

DeWayne Stanford Dollar went to be in the year of our Lord, March 27, 2020, at 67 years of age. DeWayne was born February 14, 1953 in Ardmore, OK, to Harley and Ozella (Murphy) Dollar.

DeWayne was preceded in death by his daughter, Mardie Hatcher, his son, Wayne Scott Dollar, his great grandson, Elijah, his dad Harley Dollar and his brother, Mike Dollar. DeWayne was a jack of all trades; he was an over the road truck driver (18 wheelers), and a helicopter mechanic in the National Guard, where he was made Senior Guard Leader. DeWayne loved to entertain people; he loved to make them laugh, but most of all he loved playing his guitar and singing. He wrote many songs and enjoyed singing love songs to his wife that he had wrote for her. Oh yes, don’t forget sports like football, basketball, baseball and golf, and he could make a hole in one on video. On the day that he died, he made an Abbe Crofton video.

DeWayne is survived by his wife, Yvonne of the home; his mother, Ozella Dollar of Blanchard, sons, Jeremy, Jason, Damon and Ivan; grandchildren, Maraih, Breanna, Cindy, Jason Jr and wife Gloria; Great grandchildren, Branden, Damien, Gabriella, Miss Z, Miguel and a Baby Girl on the way; Five sisters, 5 sisters, Linda Jordan of Dibble, Karen Hill and husband David of Duncan, Susan Phelps of Dibble, Bronda Willoughby and husband William of OKC and Patty Glenn of Newcastle, and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and by

Many friends who have known him by his handle, “Wishful”. He will be dearly missed!

Memorial Services will be held at DeWayne’s mothers’ home, on April 4, 2020. This will be a come and go celebration. Send online condolences @ www.wilsonlittle.com.
