Elizabeth Dolan 93, of Pocola, Oklahoma was born on May 11, 1927 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Charles Verlan and Myrtle Lee (Childress) Nichols and passed away on August 29, 2020 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was married to Charles Dolan on October 7, 1946 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Preceding her in death include her parents, Charles and Myrtle Nichols, her husband, Charles Dolan of 71 years, three sisters, and one brother. She was a member of Christian Grove Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting, crocheting, fishing, and camping. She loved her family dearly and her life revolved around her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda Wilson and husband Carl, Sharon McNeill, and Jeanie Archey and Duard Rhodes, one son, Dennis Dolan and wife Sheila, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00am, Tuesday,September 1, 2020 at Christian Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Pocola, Oklahoma with Pastor Andy Pearcy, Mr. Dennis Dolan, and Mr. Jackie Dolan officiating. Burial will follow in the White Bluff Cemetery in Bonanza, Arkansas under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma. Viewing hours will be 12pm-7pm Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dennis Dolan, DeWayne Prescott, Tim Neal, Jackie Dolan, Jeremiah Green, and Justin Dolan. Honorary Pallbearers will be her great grandchildren.
