Funeral services for Lloyd Edward Dodd, Jr, 46, Enid resident, will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 10 am in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Committal prayers will be held later in the week at Cedar Hil Cemetery, Paonia, Colorado, under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Lloyd was born on February 14, 1973 in Granite City, Illinois, the son of Lloyd, Sr, and Mildred Dodd, and passed away suddenly on September 12, 2019 in Enid.

His family moved may times due to the mining industry, living in Missouri, New Mexico, Utah, and finally moving to Colorado. Colorado is where he was raised and educated, moving to Tulare, California, where he graduated high school in 1992. In 1992, he attended Wyoming Tech University and earned a degree in automotive repair.

Lloyd worked may jobs, moving to the Bay Area. He worked as an electrician at many factories in the area and, later, found his love for pest control. Lloyd lived in San Leandro, California where he met the love of his life, Sarah Rivera, in May of 2007. They married August 3, 2007 in Las Vegas. October 1, 2010, they moved to Enid, Oklahoma where he resided until his passing. Lloyd was employed for Johnston’s Grain.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah of San Leandro, California; step-daughter, Destinee Marie Mestas of San Leandro, California; sister, Lydia Pauline Lowe of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee; brother, Lloyd Elzie Dodd of Enid; sister-in-law, Eva Dodd of Enid; nephew, James Lloyd Dodd and niece Jessie Elrine Dodd. Preceded in passing by his parents, brother, Lloyd Samuel Dodd. Remembrances may be shared online at
