Douglas Ray Doctor

October 17, 1952 ~ March 19, 2023

Douglas Ray Doctor, son of the late Doris Colleen (Greenwood) Healan and Ray Edmond Doctor, was born October 17, 1952, at Durant, Oklahoma, and passed away March 19, 2023, at Alva at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 3 days.

Doug attended school and graduated from Alva High School in 1971 and attended a junior college for a time. On April 21, 2001, he was united in marriage to Sharon Bush. He was a carpenter by trade.

Besides his parents, Doris and Ray, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Higginbotham.

Doug is survived by his wife, Sharon, of Alva; his daughter, Brooke Bow and her husband, Wade, of Norman; other relatives and friends.
