Private family services will be held for Clay Bryan Dockins at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Clay was born June 14, 1951, in Morenci, Arizona to Lowell and Charlene Dockins and passed away April 24, 2023, in his home surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer.

He grew up in Morenci Arizona where he met the love of his life, Rebecca Ballard in high school. They were married, June 28th, 1971. Clay worked at Phelps Dodge copper mine from spring of 1970 until October 1983. He then moved to Oklahoma to work as a machinist for 27 years until his retirement.

Clay loved to dance, hunt, fish and spend time with his family. He was tough as nails.

He is survived by his wife Becky of almost 52 years and three sons; Desmond and wife Mikki Dockins of Edmond, Aaron and wife Lindsay Dockins of Haslet, TX, Jason and wife Christie Dockins of North Enid, grandchildren: Desaray and husband Brandon Coplin (Florida), Savanna Dockins and fiancée Braden Alwert (Stillwater), Rylee Dockins, Luke Dockins, Rowan Dockins of Haslet, TX, Sarah Dockins of Edmond, Kolbey Dockins of Weatherford. Four great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond Dockins.

Clay will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
