Visitation and view for Dennis Wayne Dobbs, 66 of Fairview, will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2022, at the Fairview Funeral Home Inc. Fairview, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements are by the Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Dennis was born on January 10, 1956, in Enid, Oklahoma to Richard Lee and Luella LaVaughn (Frey) Dobbs and passed from this life to the next on October 16, 2022. He grew up in Ringwood and Seiling, graduating from Seiling High School in 1975. Not long after high school, Dennis started working for Thompson pipeline as a heavy equipment operator mainly running the dozer. He worked for them for more than 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed being outdoors at the lake, boating, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. When he is not outdoors you can find him working in his shop. He also loved to garden and use what he picked from his garden to make the best salsa. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend that will be truly missed.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Richard Lee and Luella LaVaughn (Frey) Dobbs.
He is survived by his daughter and two sons, Mendy, Jeff and his wife Stephanie, Levi and his wife Melissa, and blessed with two granddaughters Kaytlynn and Lia, seven grandsons, and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers Lynn and his wife Lana, and Steve and his wife Debbie along with multiple nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Dennis Dobbs Memorial Fund with Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
