Michael Dixon, 56 year old Altus resident passed away Friday, July 8, 2022 in Woodward. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Altus, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Michael Don Dixon was born July 12, 1965 to Doug Rich and Charlene (Bundy) Rich in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Michael grew up in Altus and attended Altus schools. He was a lifelong Altus resident.
He worked in maintenance and as a carpenter. He enjoyed camping, music, hunting and fishing. Family brought him the most joy and he loved spending time with them.
Michael is survived by one son, Derek Wilson and wife Sadie; two daughters, Daphne Dixon and wife Chastity; Delani Dixon; one sister Becky Phillips and husband Chuck; five grandchildren, Michael Mostrom, Todd Wilson, Melodie Martinez, Makayla Mostrom, and Chloie Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlene and Doug Rich, grandparents, George and Iola Matthews and Millie Dixon.
