Raymond T. Dirickson

September 10, 1935 ~ December 25, 2003

Raymond T. Dirickson, 69, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2003, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 29, 2003, at Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO. Visitation will be before and after the service. The Reverend Robert Geller will officiate.

Raymond was born September 10, 1935, in Chickasha, OK, to Cecil "Tack" and Myrtle (Platt) Dirickson. He married Neva Young on April 11, 1992, in Las Vegas, NV.

He graduated from high school in Verden, OK, and attended college for two years in Oklahoma City, OK. Raymond was a former resident of Sun City, AZ, and had been a resident of Fort Collins since March 9, 2003.

He served in the U. S. Navy for four years and was a member of the American Legion, Elks Club, and Moose Lodge. He loved to golf, fish and travel.

Raymond's wife, Neva Dirickson of Fort Collins, CO; sons, Karl, John, Darrell and Curtis Dirickson of Aurora, CO, and David Dirickson of Denver, CO; daughter, Darlene Dirickson of Denver, CO; stepchildren, Patrick Young of Denver, CO, Cheryl Young of Denver, CO, Cheryl Young of Fort Collins, CO, and Gwen Sowden of Fort Collins, CO; brother, Dale Dirickson of Mt. View, OK; sisters, Mary Lou Speilman of Klamath Falls, OR, Georgia Brecheisen of Mt. View, OK, and Gayle Camp of Senica, MO, all survive him. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

His parents and two sisters, Helen Phillips and Frances Dirickson, preceded him in death.
