Greg “Papa G” Dills, 59, of Durant passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Denison, TX. Greg was born on March 28, 1965, in Durant, OK to Edward Dale Dills and Linda Sue Fleming. He graduated from Durant High School in 1983 where he enjoyed playing football. Greg married Jill Roberts, the love of his life since the 6th grade, at Durant First Baptist Church on March 16, 1985. He and Jill started their business Ozone Window Film in 1985, where they successfully served their community and surrounding area. Greg was a man full of life with a giving heart. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back or just show up to help without being asked. He was a simple, easy-going man who loved being outside pampering his yard, joking around, spending time on the lake, riding Harleys, jet boats, watching sports, being with his family and friends and he HATED the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the Durant First Baptist Church and the Elks Lodge.
Greg is survived by his wife Jill of the home, son Aaron Dills “The Golden Child” and wife Lynsey of Durant, OK, daughter Emily Conley “The Diamond Child” and her husband Kyle of Durant, OK, three grandchildren Wyatt Conley, Owen Conley, and Paxon Dills, father Dale Dills and wife Carolyn of Durant, OK, Mother Cindy Gipson and husband Lew of Durant, OK, brother Todd Dills and wife Tammy of Grove, OK, two sisters Lori Wilson of Durant, and Kaci Walston and husband Tyler of Durant. He is also survived by many extended family members and special friends.
