Memorial Service for Jeff Dillard, 60, of Cleo Springs, will be 10:30 AM, Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Aline Methodist Church, Aline, Oklahoma. Pastor Adam Brinson will officiate. Arrangements are by the Fairview Funeral Home Inc..
Jeffrey Michael Dillard was born July 30, 1962 to Teddy Mack and Marie Isabel (Lee) Dillard in Twin Falls, Idaho and passed from this life suddenly on February 20, 2023.
Jeff grew up in Cleo Springs, OK, attending Aline-Cleo public schools. He was active in livestock shows, basketball, baseball, and a member of the FFA where he received his state Farmer Degree. He attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University on a baseball scholarship following in his father’s footsteps. After college he continued helping his dad at Dillard Oil Company in Cleo Springs. He was very involved and helped organize multiple men’s slow pitch softball teams (Baker Ford, Cleo Merchants), and helped the Cleo Merchants win the slow pitch men’s softball state tournament in 1983. He was a member of the Aline United Methodist Church. He married Kyna Lee Swanson on August 4th, 1990 and later was blessed with three sons: Tanner Mack, Jaden Layne, and Kade Michael.
Growing up, Jeff would custom harvest with his grandpa Bud. He was a pumper at XTO energy for many years, and a farmer his whole life. As his sons were growing up, Jeff took charge of coaching the many athletic activities they were involved in. He loved mentoring the young men in the community and sharing his talent and experience with baseball. He founded Drop Tine Guided Hunts in 1999. Throughout the many years of guiding, he met many lifelong friends. Jeff enjoyed spending time with friends, golfing, hunting, fishing, and passed on his love for these activities to his children.
He is survived by his mother and father, Ted and Marie Dillard, his sons Tanner, Jaden with his wife Morgan, and Kade. Further survived by Jeff is his sister Jill Seelke and husband Jack Seelke, children Nicki, Suni, Mason and Karlee.
Memorials can be made to the Jeff Dillard memorial fund, or the Aline Methodist Church with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds
