The memorial services honoring and celebrating the life of Andrea "Dru" Brooke Dickson, 28, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday September 7, 2018 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Goins officiating. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
She was born January 16, 1990 in North Richland Hills, Texas to Steve and Sherie Dickson and passed from this life on September 2, 2018 in Oklahoma City.
She lived in several places as a child following her mother's career. At the age of seven she moved with her family to Enid. She was raised and educated in Enid attending Enid High School. She loved being a mom and her whole world revolved around her love for her children. She enjoyed flowers, baking and making homemade treats for her children and all of the neighborhood children.
She also enjoyed swimming and being outside with her children. She was known for being outgoing, loving, and for having the house that all of the children from the neighbor gathered. She was an avid O.U. fan always watching the games with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Sherie Dickson of Enid and step-dad Justin Timm, the love of her life John "Jay' McKitrick of the home; the lights of her world, her children, Brookelynn age 6, Jayden age 11 and step-daughter Jaylynn age 15 all of the home, her sister Jamie Surratt of Enid, big brother Jacob, and two nephews and one niece. She also leaves behind a host of loving extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents, her cousin and two uncles.
