Mr. Loyd Dean Dickey, 76, of Bartlesville, died at 4:05 A.M. on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.
The family will schedule a graveside service at a later date and cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Dickey was born at Caney, Kansas
on December 13, 1939 the son of
Leslie Lowell Dickey and Nellie Vera
(Marshall) Dickey. He grew up in the
Niotaze, Kansas area and graduated
from high school at Caney , Kansas
and then graduated from Coffeyville
Community College. He was employed
as an engineer with Public Service
Company in Bartlesville and Vinita
for 32 years until his retirement in
1995. He loved swap meets, car
shows, rock and roll and country
music.
Survivors include his son, Richard
Alan Dickey of Bartlesville, one
brother, Lowell Glenn Dickey of
Independence, Kansas, one sister,
Norma Scott of Caney, Kansas, two
grandchildren, Dustin Dean Dickey
and Amber Dawn Folkers and 10 great
grandchildren.
