Paul F. Diaz , 57, of Santa Rita, Guam, passed away 22nd, August, 2015, in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born April 30, 1958, in Guam to Vicente Diaz and Serafina (Pangelinan) Diaz.
He grew up and attended school in Guam, and married Maria-Elena Domingo in 1990. He acquired his training and most of his experience as a skilled trades worker at Guam International Airport. Paul was an accomplished guitarist, talented wood craftsman, and reliable mechanic. He will be remembered by his family as a loyal and devoted loved one, who enjoyed getting to know people, and making them laugh. He was a generous man, who gave freely of his talents, food, and time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vicente Lizama Diaz and Serafina (Pangelinan) Diaz; his brother, Peter A. (Tony) Diaz; and his godmother, Emiliana (Nina) Sablan Pangelinan. Paul is survived by his wife, Maria-Elena D.. Diaz; children, Shawn J. Babauta, Kristie L. Diaz; his siblings, Michael B. Diaz, Vicente (Binky) P. Diaz, and R. Arlene Diaz; grandchildren, Donovan J. Diaz, Shawn P. Babauta, Aubreannah L. Yoshida, Shanya J. Babauta, Nazareth R. Babauta, Auria S. Babauta, Analeah B. Mafnas, Jaleen M. Leon Guerrero, Alan P. Leon Guerrero; his parents-in-law, Elena M. King, Bienvenido Domingo, Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Cynthia N. Domingo, Cheryl A.. Boudreaux, Gerri Domingo, Betty B. Diaz; his brothers-in-law, Mike Chad Domingo, Bienvenido C. Domingo, Anthony (Tony) J. Boudreaux, and numerous nieces and nephews.
