Anna Marie (Riddle) Dewett
June 10, 1932 ~ June 11, 2023

Anna Marie Dewett of Durant passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, June 11, 2023. She was born on June 10, 1932 to Jessie Greenwood Riddle and Sarah Ann (Boydston) Riddle

Anna was a member of the Choctaw Nation Senior Citizens. She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing. She was also a member of the Cowboy Church. Anna will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Janice Dewett of Durant, Oklahoma, her sons Wayne Dewett of Bennington, Oklahoma, and Jess Dewett of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and her sister Jimmie Friloux also of Durant, Oklahoma. Her legacy lives on with her seven grandchildren, her eighteen great grandchildren, and her thirteen great-great grandchildren.

Those preceding her in death are her husband F.T. Dewett, her parents Jessie and Sarah Riddle, and her siblings Bill Riddle, Zelma Robertson, D.A. Riddle, Coleman Riddle, Dorothy Miller, Jessie Dobbs, and Grace Dunaway.

Family Hour will be held from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held to honor her memory on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Anthony Williams and Olin Williams officiating.
