Nina Faye (Harvey) DePriest
April 7, 1937 ~ October 29, 2017

Nina DePriest, 80 year old Mooreland resident, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Mooreland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 in the First United Methodist Church of Mooreland. A private family burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the Billings Chapel in Mooreland on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm

Nina Faye (Harvey) DePriest was born on April 7, 1937 in Shattuck, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Marion and Eileen (Bunker) Harvey. Nina grew up in the San Luis Valley of Colorado and graduated from Fort Garland High School. She was united in marriage to Larry Lee DePriest on October 2, 1955 in Blanca, Colorado. They were blessed with four sons: Dennis, Wade, Todd, and Rick. The family made their home in Alamosa, Colorado before moving to Mooreland, Oklahoma. 

She worked at several different places in Business Administration including the High Plains Vo-Tech and the Sante Fe Railroad. 

Nina was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mooreland. She enjoyed square dancing and spending time with her grandchildren, going to the Colorado mountains and being with friends. 

She is survived by four sons: Dennis DePriest and wife Tricia, Wade DePriest and wife Wendy, Todd DePriest, Rick DePriest and wife Karen; one brother, Guy Harvey and wife Rama; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry DePriest, numerous aunts and uncles, niece, Sheila Harvey and nephew, Justin Harvey.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Justin Harvey Memorial Fund with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
