Rosa Zita Delaloye, 95, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019.
Rosa was born on March 23, 1924 in Paris, Arkansas at their family home to parents Anton Lawrence Benz and Katherine Zeiler. She went to school and became a registered nurse but later found that she loved being a homemaker. Rosa married John Arthur Delaloye in November of 1952. She enjoyed sewing and baking, but most importantly she loved being around her family.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Jimmy Benz, Ollie Benz and John Benz.
Rosa is survived by her sons, Richard and wife Linda Delaloye, Michael and wife Janie Delaloye, Stephen and wife Lisa Delaloye, Kenneth and wife Susan Delaloye and Jim and wife Dawn Delaloye; grandchildren, Gina, John, Natalie, Valerie, Melizza, Robert, Joel, Nichole, Carson, Chris and Chase; five great grandchildren; brothers, Anthony Delaloye and Raymond and wife Pat Delaloye and sister, Irene Morrison.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Martha’s Task at 718 S.
Johnstone Ave. in Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003.
A Rosary will be held at
2:00pm Thursday, December 2nd at Resurrection Catholic Church of Tulsa.
Funeral will be at 11:00am Friday, December 3rd at Resurrection Catholic
Church of Tulsa.
