The memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Devin Decker, 32, of Waukomis, will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 24, 2018, in the Waukomis Christian Church with Pastor Dave Jones officiating.

The family graveside will be held privately. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born September 14, 1986, in Enid to Annette Decker and Jason Boatright, and passed from this life November 19, 2018.

He began working at the age of fourteen at Kenny's Texaco for his grandpa where he learned to work on cars and was a skilled mechanic.

He was baptized and became a member of the Waukomis Christian Church in 1996. He was raised and educated in Waukomis, graduating high school in 2005.

He was a talented athlete, excelling in baseball and basketball. He went on to graduate from Northern Oklahoma College Enid with an Associates Degree in Biology.

He worked at various restaurants in Stillwater, Tulsa, and mostly recently for PaneVino in Enid. He became an avid hunter as a young child when he and his grandpa Ken would go out together. He was a true and successful outdoors-man, loving everything about hunting and fishing including the hard work.

He is survived by his son, Rylan, of Broken Arrow; parents, Annette and Carson Franklin, of Waukomis; sisters, McKenzie, of Waukomis, and Rachel, of Arizona; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Zachary, and grandma Norma Gritz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Waukomis Christian Church Youth Group, or Suicide Awareness with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences to the family may be made at WWW.Brown-Cummings.com.
