Jimmy Michael Deaton, age 62 of Stratford, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. Jimmy was born September 10, 1955 in Lindsay, OK, 1 of 5 children born to Jimmy Lee Deaton and Foncene Joyce (Castleman) Deaton. He was raised in the Lindsay and Lexington areas. Jimmy worked in various capacities in the oil field. He made his home in Stratford with his wife Shelly for the last several years.

He was preceded in death by: His parents, Jimmy Lee and Foncene Deaton; Brother, Gary Deaton; 3 sisters, Debra Deaton, Dana Cole and Diana Deaton and Step-brothers, Ray and Stacy Selman.

Jimmy is survived by: His wife, Shelly of the home; Children, JC Brittain of Stratford, OK; Kristy McSwain and Clayton Coulter of Byars, OK Loran McSwain of Stratford OK; Theresa Deaton of Wayne, Cooper Van Deaton and wife, Elizabeth of Smithsville, OK Michael James Deaton of Lindsay and Kristi Deaton of Gainesville, Florida; Kelly Michael Deaton of Wayne, OK. Brother; Trampas Deaton and wife Diana of Wayne; Step-brother, Ricky Selman of Maysville; Grandchildren, Kole Dearmen, Kaylee McSwain, Ayden Russ, Clyde Coulter, Ricky Deaton, Erica Mills and husband, Robbie, Carly Pigg, Bentley Deaton, Cameron Deaton, Cole Deaton, Kelsey Deaton, Shelby Deaton, Carter Deaton, Cameron Deaton, Alissa Deaton and Micky Speed Deaton; Great grandchildren, Jase Dawson, Charlie Ann, Kasynn Michael and Raegan Tate.

The family will be having a memorial service at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, November 19, 2017, at Freewill Baptist Church in Stratford, OK. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home.
